Doorley.org
Finally got around to it, but Doorley.org now automatically redirects to blog.doorley.org which is now the offical spot for the Tumblr blog.  Not sure what took me so long, after all, I am paying for all this hosting for Doorley.org that I haven’t really used. Now that Doorley.org is up and running on Tumblr, I’m going to add some updates and new features to the site.  Nothing crazy. ...

Brookline Booksmith bests Barnes & Noble →
After 16 years of going head-to-head, the Barnes & Noble of Brookline closed in Janauary of this year leaving the independent Brookline Booksmith (my former empoyeer and my favorite bookstore) the last one standing.  Great article about how local stores are gaining in this downturned economy.

I feel think I’m one of the few people paying any attention to the World Baseball Classic in the States.  A couple of days ago I got a phone call from a friend of mine who started going on about a Red Sox - Orioles’ pre-season game.  I didn’t watch the game because I was watching the Netherlands upset the Dominican Republic in what is probably the best game in Classic history...
